| | Penang Frees School(PFS) founded in 1816, the oldest school in SE Asia. Once a year we have our annual games where the old boys get a chance to pit their skills against the younger present students in a series of sports which include table tennis, tennis, badminton. cricket, football and hockey. Many of us "old boys" take the opportunity to visit the school, have lunch just like the good old days. We take pride of this famous and historical school where many Malaysia's famous leaders came from which include our first prime minister Tunku Abdul Rahman and the previous King, Raja of Perlis among a long list of others. However, PFS as an institution is gradually losing its' place as an elite school and this has much to do with the changes in the malaysian socio-political environment. Sad...but true! Well! neverheless..once a frees always a frees..!

fancy some tropical fruits with some slimy viper from a local fruit farm in tropical penang island just found this new sci-fi theme and i really love it. have always been a sci-fi addict..and wow is this a well done theme..! pure magic. had a long 3.5 hours club committee meeting last night and as i was observing the procedures, a thought came to my mind. "Why can't people listen carefully before they reply?". in my years of experience, i found that most people likes to talk without listening and more often enough this is more true for those who are better educated may it be professionals or not...and i believe this saying to be true..."Never tell people how to do things, tell them what to do and they will surprise you with their ingenuity"...by General George S. Patton read an interesting article in our local "star" newspaper about the sad truth on retirement in malaysia. and the survey found that most people cannot retire at the age of 55 yrs old but continue to work to either keep up with inflation or to mantain their lifestlye...hmmm! so how do one retire?

went to the local shopping mall "gurney plaza" to get my 2 yrs old ipod mini fixed, problems with battery or hard disk. repair would cost me another RM300 or more depending on nature of problems. there was a promotion on...trade in old ipod at RM250...thought it was a good deal, bought myself a ipod 80G. downloaded all my photos, dive videos and contacts....and with a pair of portable mini speakers...great and convenient way to share your holidays with friends anywhere, anytime....simply love it..!!!!!! never thought i would waste my time blogging in something call the world wide web not to mention writing a journal in my own dairy. over the last few days visiting the many distant multiply "friends" i found inspiration from the various blogs i have read. all started with my interest in diving and photography, soon i discovered poets, musicians and discovering a new frontier...hmm..mmm! new descriptive words seems to be popping up as i read which is totally new to my dinosaur vocabulary or is it becoz i have not been catching up with times or just plain complacent resting on past laurels...well i must say..my eyes are opening up a bit more each day and my mind is catching up..gosh! guess i might sign up, join up or shut up. thanks to you guys out there..i am begining to enjoy blogging.....mindful as long as it dosen't hurt nobody. cheers!
